CMMC Compliance Guide

Meeting CMMC Secure File Transfer Requirements

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) is taking a supply-chain risk-management approach to improving cybersecurity by requiring all third-party partners to obtain the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The CMMC certification is designed to enhance the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract information (FCI), and the certification applies to all 300,000 DoD contractors.

CMMC requires contractors, subcontractors, and small businesses to use secure file transfer mechanisms to protect FCI and CUI. Kitework's FedRAMP- and FIPS-140-2-compliant file sharing and governance capabilities enable enterprises to share sensitive information quickly and securely while maintaining full visibility and control over their file-sharing activities.
