Both cybercriminals and compliance bodies recognize the value of sensitive content. The former increasingly exploit this content through successful cyberattacks, whereas the latter seek to institute governance tracking and controls to protect the content from malicious exposure. The Sensitive Content Communications Privacy and Compliance Report provides benchmarks for organizations to evaluate the maturity of their sensitive content communications.
Findings from 400 IT, security, privacy, and compliance professionals representing numerous industry segments and 15 countries around the world indicate significant security and compliance gaps remain. For example, more than half say their organizations are inadequately protected against risk when sharing and storing sensitive content with third parties.
